Historic night in Erie as Otters to retire Connor McDavid’s #97

A sold out Erie Insurance Arena will see franchise history enshrined on Friday night as the Otters retire Connor McDavid‘s #97 in a pre-game ceremony prior to puckdrop against the Saginaw Spirit.

Now in his 10th NHL season with the Edmonton Oilers, the former Red Tilson Trophy recipient and OHL Playoff MVP has amassed 1,040 career points over 683 regular season games and has a full trophy case of NHL hardware as a result of his tremendous contributions.
