The 6-foot-4 Toronto Maple Leafs prospect has developed into a steady and reliable presence on Flint’s blue line.   DEFENCEMAN | Nick Bogas 2025-26 (U.S. National U18 Team): 37 GP, 2G, 2A, 4 PTS Nick Bogas joins the Firebirds this season after Flint acquired his rights from the Sarnia Sting and signed the defenceman during the offseason. The St. Louis Blues prospect comes to Flint with experience from the U.S. National Team Development Program, where he established himself as a reliable, shutdown presence on the blue line. His extensive work in the areas of athlete monitoring and hockey analytics has included collecting and analyzing game-event data, developing statistical models and using data to better understand player and team performance. Csiernik, an alumnus of the Ontario Tech Ridgebacks men’s hockey program, has served as performance consultant, and goaltending coach with his alma mater, while most recently serving as a Sport Science Consultant with the Ridgebacks women’s hockey program.   In addition to his practical experience, Csiernik has an extensive academic and research background. He completed both his undergraduate and Master's degrees in kinesiology at Ontario Tech and has pursued doctoral research in the university’s Expertise and Skill Acquisition Lab, with a focus on training load measurement and performance evaluation. The 2025 first-round pick worked his way into a larger role down the stretch, an impressive step for a 16-year-old who had missed most of his U16 AAA season due to injury. He also brought a physical edge to his game, finishing the regular season with 108 penalty minutes. Spicer made his OHL debut with the Spitfires early in the season and appeared in three games with the club. He was also selected to participate in the 2026 GOHL Top Prospects Game as part of the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects event.    DEFENCEMAN | Sam Wathier 2025-26 (U.S. National U18 Team): 32 GP, 1G, 2A, 3 PTS Sam Wathier joins the Spitfires after playing with the U.S. National Team Development Program last season. The defenceman saw time with both the U17 and U18 teams, as well as the NTDP Juniors in the USHL, before his season was cut short due to injury.
