Participating teams announced for the OHL Cup

The Ontario Hockey League and Greater Toronto Hockey League jointly announced today the 16 teams that will participate in the 2004 Ontario Hockey League Showcase for the OHL Cup hosted by the GTHL, which will be played at the Herbert Carnegie Centennial Arena in North York on March 24-28, 2004.

The champions and finalists from each minor hockey association in Ontario, including the GTHL, OMHA, ODMHA, NOHA, HNO and the Alliance will participate in the tournament, along with additional teams identified by the Tournament Selection Committee.

The 2004 Ontario Hockey League Showcase for the OHL Cup hosted by the GTHL opens on Wednesday March 24 at 6:00 p.m. with round robin games throughout the day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The official opening ceremonies will be held on Thursday at 8:15 p.m and the playoffs are on Sunday March 28 concluding with the Gold Medal Game at 4:00 p.m.
