OHL players at NHL Development Camps

National Hockey League clubs have been hosting prospect development camps throughout July with many Ontario Hockey League players attending.
A total of 151 OHL players from the 2013-14 season participated in various camps this month including a total of 106 NHL Drafted prospects featuring all 41 OHL players selected in the 2014 NHL Draft. The 151 OHL players also includes six undrafted prospects who have signed entry-level contracts with NHL clubs, along with 39 OHL players who were invited by NHL clubs as free agents.
In addition to the 151 OHL players, 36 former OHL players attended various development camps.
All 20 OHL member clubs had at least four players attend various NHL Development Camps with the London Knights leading the way with 13 players, the Guelph Storm and Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds each had 12, and the Erie Otters had 10 players from last season’s roster invited by NHL clubs.
All 30 NHL teams had at least two current and/or former OHL players attend their camps led by the Los Angeles Kings with 14, followed by the Carolina Hurricanes with 12, while the Detroit Red Wings and Vancouver Canucks each had 11 OHL players.
