OHL Cup Participating Teams
The Ontario Hockey League and Greater Toronto Hockey League jointly announced today the 16 teams that will participate in the 2003 Ontario Hockey League Showcase for the OHL Cup hosted by the GTHL, which will be played at the Herbert Carnegie Centennial Arena in North York on March 27-30, 2003.
The champions and finalists from each minor hockey association in Ontario, including the GTHL, OMHA, ODMHA, NOHA, HNO and the Alliance will participate in the tournament, along with additional teams identified by the Tournament Selection Committee.
The 2003 Ontario Hockey League Showcase for the OHL Cup hosted by the GTHL opens on Thursday March 27, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with round robin games throughout the day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The official opening ceremonies will be held on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. The playoffs are on Sunday March 30 with the Bronze Medal (2:00 p.m.) and Gold Medal Game (4:00 p.m.) to be broadcast live on Rogers Cable Television.
