McGrath and Bastasin commit to Wolves

The Sudbury Wolves are pleased to announce that goaltender Jake McGrath and defenceman Brandon Bastasin have committed to the club.
A 6’1″, 150lb goaltender, McGrath was selected by the Wolves in the 8th round of the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. Last season, he backstopped the Toronto Marlboros Minor Midget team to the 2015 OHL Cup Championship. McGrath had a very strong camp and helped lead the Wolves to a 4-2 pre-season victory over the North Bay Battalion on Sunday afternoon.
The 16-year-old Mississauga native has been re-assigned to the St. Michael’s Buzzards of the OJHL where he will develop this season.
At 6’3″, 183Ibs., Bastasin had a very strong camp and will continue with the team in exhibition play as he competes for a roster spot.
The Mississauga native was selected by the Wolves in the 7th round of the 2014 OHL Priority Selection. Bastasin spent the 2014-15 season with the Don Mills Flyers Midgets where he had a very strong year of development.
