Futa Named Attack GM

The Owen Sound Attack today announced that Mike Futa is their new General Manager.

Futa, who was an assistant general manager and assistant coach with the Oshawa Generals for the past two seasons, was previously the head coach of the Toronto St. Michael’s Majors and was a coach with Ontario’s Under-17 Team for the past three seasons.

“On behalf of the Ontario Hockey League, I would like to congratulate Mike Futa on his appointment as general manager of the Owen Sound Attack hockey club,” said OHL Commissioner David Branch. “Mike brings a well-rounded background and experience in the OHL along with an impressive network of contacts at all levels of the game from the National Hockey League to university hockey to junior and minor hockey.”
