Four Teams Remaining at OHL Cup
Four teams remain standing as the 2002 OHL Cup continues with two semi-final matchups on Friday.
The Toronto Red Wings (5-1-0 in round robin play) finished the tournament with the best record and will face the Thunder Bay Kings (3-3-0) at 1:00 p.m.
The Oakville Rangers (4-2-0) finished second and will face the Nepean Raiders (4-1-1) in the other semifinal at 10:00 a.m.
The winners of the semi-final games will meet on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. (Live on CFMT) for the OHL Cup championship. The bronze medal game is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
The host Brantford 99’ers (1-5-0), Sault Ste. Marie Thunder (1-5-0) and Huron Perth Lakers (2-3-1) did not qualify to advance to the playoff round.
