Woolley’s Warriors Operation November campaign raises $2,285
The Owen Sound Attack are proud to share the results of Woolley’s Warriors Operation November. This event, led by several school age players from the Attack, was successful in raising money to benefit the incredible Woolley’s Warriors organization created by our Captain Mark Woolley which benefits young athletes and all those affected by type 1 diabetes.
As a whole, Operation November was able to raise $2,285.00 from the 5 unique auction prizes being offered.
The Attack organization and players would like to thank all those who participated in the auction. A special thanks to DASH for organizing the platform needed to run this event. The DASH team was incredibly generous in donating their fees back to Woolley’s Warriors making the event cost free and the organization seamless.
“It was a pretty easy choice for what charity we wanted to raise money for. I’m super happy at the money we raised, and for DASH to help us promote and organize the auctions was incredible.” – Gavin Bryant (Attack Forward, Member of the organizing group for Operation November).
Another special thanks and congratulations to all of the winners: Douglas Hill, Benjamin Russell, Brian Chafe and Susan McManus. Your charitable contributions are truly appreciated by the Attack and Woolley’s Warriors.
“They did an awesome job. For them to step up and take this task on shows what kind of young men that group is, and I’m honoured and proud that they chose to support Woolley’s Warriors.” – Mark Woolley (Attack Captain, and Founder of Woolley’s Warriors).
With such a successful event the organization is proud of the initiative, leadership, and dedication to charitable work that our players have continued to show as members of the Attack.
