– Antonino Pugliese scored the go-ahead goal with 3:07 remaining in the second period as part of four unanswered from the Rangers.
– LA Kings prospect Francesco Pinelli and forward Matthew Sop each had a pair of goals for Kitchener.
– Blueliner Arber Xhekaj tied things up midway through the second and also added an assist.
– Pasquale Zito, Wyatt Johnston and Kyle McDonald scored Windsor goals.
– Pavel Cajan stopped 37 of 40 for the Ranger win.
– The Spitfires were without a few regulars including forwards Daniel D’Amico, Jacob Maillet and Alex Christopoulos.
– Adrian Mislajevic made his OHL debut for Kitchener.
– Long-time Rangers Assistant Trainer Barry Hoch worked his final game. He’d been with the club since 2003.
