– New York Rangers prospect Brennan Othmann scored his 45th and 46th goals of the season while Zacharie Giroux also scored for the Firebirds.
– Winnipeg Jets prospect Dmitry Kuzmin picked up a pair of assists.
– Alexis Daviault and Marko Sikic scored Sarnia goals.
– The Firebirds outshot the Sting 41-32, wrapping up their season series with Sarnia with a record of 6-2.
– The Sting lose their third in a row and ninth in the last 10 and sit one point up on Erie for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with two games remaining.

– Braeden Bowman netted his 25th and Danny Zhilkin buried his 21st.
– Erie’s Brett Bressette broke up Owen Bennett’s shutout bid with 6:08 remaining in the third period.
– The Storm outshot the Otters 31-19 in a game that included just one set of offsetting minor penalties.
– Owen Bennett stopped 18 of 19 for the win.
– The Storm move four points up on Owen Sound, holding down fifth place in the Western Conference.
– Erie trails Sarnia by one point for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference with two games remaining.
