1ST STAR: ALAN LYSZCZARCZYK (MISSISSAUGA STEELHEADS):
Alan Lyszczarczyk‘s first OHL hat-trick came in heroic fashion. With the score 3-3, the overage winger scored three times in a span of 8:55 to lift the Mississauga Steelheads to a 6-3 road win over his former club, the Owen Sound Attack. Lyszczarczyk’s 22nd, 23rd and 24th goals of the season give him a total of 54 points (24-30–54) over 40 games between Mississauga and Owen Sound. The Wellington, NJ native is currently in his fourth OHL season and has points in 11 of his last 12 games.

2ND STAR: AKIL THOMAS (NIAGARA ICEDOGS):
Los Angeles Kings prospect Akil Thomas recorded his third five-point game of the season, scoring twice while adding three assists as the Niagara IceDogs defeated visiting Flint 7-2. Thomas helped Jack Studnicka record a hat-trick and found the back of the net twice in the third period, helping the Central Division-leading IceDogs win for the 26th time this season. Thomas registered his fifth straight multi-point game, giving him 63 points (21-42–63) over 38 games this season. The 19-year-old native of Brandon, Fla. was a second round pick of Los Angeles last summer.

3RD STAR: KEEGHAN HOWDESHELL (SAULT STE. MARIE GREYHOUNDS):
Overage winger Keeghan Howdeshell led the charge in Barrie on Friday, recording his fourth hat-trick of the season as the Soo Greyhounds took an 8-5 road win over the Colts. Howdeshell opened the scoring 3:55 into the first period and capped his hat-trick 4:08 into the third. The 20-year-old native of Brighton, Mich. has 51 point (33-18–51) over 44 games this season. Currently in his second OHL season, Howdeshell attended rookie camp with the Arizona Coyotes in September.
