2019 NHL Draft prospect Blake Murray scored a pair of goals, leading the Sudbury Wolves past visiting North Bay 5-0. Murray’s 16th and 17th goals of the season both came in the first period as the Wolves led 4-0 after 20 minutes. The 17-year-old from Uxbridge, Ont. has 28 points (17-11–28) over 41 games this season. A 6-foot-3, 185Ib. centre, Murray was Sudbury’s first round pick in the 2017 OHL Priority Selection from the Whitby Wildcats Minor Midgets.

Luukkonen recently won a gold medal with Finland at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Hockey Championship. The third overall pick of the 2018 CHL Import Draft was a second round pick of Buffalo in 2017.
3RD STAR: MACAULEY CARSON (SUDBURY WOLVES):
Fourth-year veteran Macauley Carson didn’t find the scoresheet, but his physicality and faceoff prowess proved valuable in Sudbury’s 5-0 win over visiting North Bay. Carson was throwing the body and got involved in some extracurriculars while finishing the night with a plus-1 rating. The 19-year-old from Midhurst, Ont. also went 8-for-11 in the faceoff circle. Carson has 21 points (9-12–21) over 38 games this season.
