1ST STAR: JAN MYSAK (HAMILTON BULLDOGS) – 3G, 2A
2020 NHL Draft prospect Jan Mysak recorded his first OHL hat-trick in just his seventh game, spearheading a 9-4 Hamilton Bulldogs win over visiting Niagara. Mysak scored all three of his goals in the first period before tacking on two assists to bring his output to nine points (7-2–9) on the season. The 17-year-old from Litvinov, Czech Rep. was the 20th overall pick of the 2019 CHL Import Draft and represented the Czech Republic at the 2020 World Juniors prior to joining Hamilton. He was the ninth ranked International skater on NHL Central Scouting’s Midterm Rankings.

2ND STAR: ARTHUR KALIYEV (HAMILTON BULLDOGS) – 2G, 2A
Los Angeles Kings prospect Arthur Kaliyev put up four points as the Hamilton Bulldogs defeated the Niagara IceDogs 9-4, becoming the club’s all-time leading goal scorer in the process. Kaliyev scored his 33rd and 34th goals of the season, giving him a Bulldogs club record 116 over his three seasons in Steeltown. The 18-year-old from Staten Island, NY has 75 points (34-41–75) through 42 games this season, good for fifth in OHL scoring. Kaliyev represented the United States at the 2020 World Juniors.

3RD STAR: RYAN MERKLEY (LONDON KNIGHTS) – 1G, 2A
San Jose Sharks prospect Ryan Merkley had a goal and two assists to guide the London Knights past the Sarnia Sting 5-2 on the road. Merkley, whose 57 points (12-45–57) in 45 games are second-most amongst OHL defencemen this season, reached the 250 career point milestone in the win and is now one assist shy of 200. The former first overall OHL Priority Selection choice from Mississauga, Ont. was San Jose’s first round pick in the 2018 NHL Draft.
