Team OHL By The Numbers
The 2019 CIBC Canada Russia Series shifts to the Ontario Hockey League for Games 3 and 4 on Thursday, November 7 in Kitchener and Monday, November 11 in London. It’s time to take a deeper dive into the numbers that make up this year’s Team OHL roster. Here’s ten different standout figures:
1: Third-year Team OHL veteran in 6-foot-7, 240Ib. Ottawa 67’s defenceman Kevin Bahl. The Arizona Coyotes prospect found the back of the net on Nov. 13, 2017 in Sudbury as Team OHL defeated Russia 4-2.
2: Defending OHL champions in Guelph Storm teammates Nico Daws and Cam Hillis who were added as injury replacements on Tuesday.
3: Dallas Stars prospects in Ty Dellandrea (Flint Firebirds/13th overall in 2018), Thomas Harley (Mississauga Steelheads/18th overall in 2019) and Riley Damiani (Kitchener Rangers/137th overall in 2018).
4: Top 2020 NHL Draft prospects in Quinton Byfield (Sudbury Wolves), Cole Perfetti (Saginaw Spirit), Jamie Drysdale (Erie Otters) and Ryan O’Rourke (Soo Greyhounds).
