Louis Latta Commits to Sting
SARNIA, ON – Sarnia Sting General Manager, Nick Sinclair announced today that the club’s 84th overall pick in the 2015 Import Draft, Louis Latta, has agreed to terms on a Standard Player Agreement and Education Package.
Brother of former Sting captain, Nick Latta, Louis is a dual-citizen and will not count towards the club’s import quota for the 16-17 season.
The 6’2”, 198 lb. forward racked up 30 points (16 G, 14 A) in 42 games with Kölner EC U19 of the DNL last season. The year prior, during his draft-year, Latta recorded 42 points, including 26 goals and 16 assists in 31 games played.
Last season, Latta represented Germany at the U18 D1A tournament, notching 2 goals and 1 assist in 5 games.
