Served by the Storm raises over $7,800 for Adopt-A-School program
Guelph, ON – On February 19, the Guelph Storm hosted the annual ‘Served by the Storm’ benefit dinner in support of the Adopt-A-School program. With the always great and continuous support of Storm fans, the event was able to raise a total of $7841.72 for the program.
The Adopt-A-School program provides rewards and incentives to local elementary school students throughout Wellington County for exemplary achievement in the classroom, extra-curricular activities, and volunteer work. In many cases, the Adopt-A-School program proudly gives local kids the chance to attend their first hockey game.
Welcoming over 120 guests at Served by the Storm this year, paired with a successful silent auction and raffle draw that saw one lucky fan take home a game used 2017-18 Cedric Ralph jersey, the dinner was once again a massive hit, with a new host: The Western Hotel in Downtown Guelph.
The Guelph Storm organization would like to extend a big and gracious thank-you to our fans for making the event such a success!
