(1) Brantford Bulldogs (44-19-5-0) vs. (4) Oshawa Generals (41-21-4-2)
The Oshawa Generals enter the second round looking to return to the big stage after capturing the Bobby Orr Trophy as Eastern Conference champions last spring. This time, they’ll face the Brantford Bulldogs for the first time ever in the OHL Playoffs.
NHL-caliber talent continues to shine in Oshawa, with Colby Barlow (Winnipeg), Ben Danford (Toronto), Calum Ritchie (NY Islanders), and Beckett Sennecke (Anaheim) leading the charge. Meanwhile, 2025 NHL Draft prospect and Cogeco OHL Player of the Week Owen Griffin has been a difference-maker, currently tied for second in post-season points league-wide.
Chasing their first Championship since 2022, the Bulldogs ride the momentum of a 4-1 first round win over North Bay. Goaltender Ryerson Leenders (Buffalo Sabres) remains rock-solid in the crease, while Red Tilson Trophy nominee Nick Lardis (Chicago Blackhawks) leads the Bulldogs’ offensive push with nine points in five playoff contests.
These two teams always play each other tough. The Bulldogs will look to take advantage of home ice, opening the series at the Madhouse on Market Thursday night.
