NHL Draft prospect and Guelph Storm rookie Lev Katzin had a two-goal performance, including the opening goal to send the teddy bears raining down from the stands
Guelph Storm goaltender Zachary Jovanovski made his second career start and first at home. He had a huge performance for the Storm, backstopping them to a shootout victory and his first career OHL win with 32 saves
Kingston Frontenacs rookie Adam Kelly scored his first career OHL goal 19:16 into the first period
Kingston tied the game on Cal Uens’ second goal of the season midway through the second, but Guelph would respond just 71 seconds later as Leo Serlin tipped a point shot home to regain the lead
Pittsburgh Penguins prospect Emil Pieniniemi sniped his fourth goal of the season to tie the game midway through the third which forced overtime
Charlie Paquette and Leo Serlin scored in the shootout for Guelph to secure the extra point in the shootout

Owen Sound Attack 0 at Flint Firebirds 4

Tampa Bay Lightning prospect Kaden Pitre opened the scoring for the Firebirds with his 11th goal of the season
The Flint Firebirds offence stayed quiet for most of the game until the third period where they would explode for three goals in 48 seconds to win 4-0
Nathan Day made 16 saves in the shutout victory
Nathan Day now has two shutouts this season against the Owen Sound Attack. Day also ties the Firebirds record for most shutouts in a single season (tied with Luke Cavallin in 2021-22), as well as most shutouts in franchise history

London Knights 2 at Windsor Spitfires 3

This battle between two of the top teams in the CHL came down to the wire, the Spitfires would ultimately take it on a late goal from NHL Draft prospect Jack Nesbitt to secure the win
NHL Draft prospect Henry Brzustewicz scored the first goal of the game for the London Knights on a booming one time shot for his fifth of the season
Cole Davis tied the game up later in the first period with a highlight reel goal of his own to reach the double digit mark on the season
Ottawa Senators prospect Blake Montgomery gave the Knights a 2-1 lead as he scored his seventh goal in his 14th OHL game
Chicago Blackhawks prospect AJ Spellacy tied the game at 2-2 early in the third period on a precision strike that found a hole past the goaltender
The shots were very lopsided in this game as the Spitfires put up 42 shots against London’s Aleksei Medvedev while the Knights could only muster 15 against the Spitfires’ Joey Costanzo
Medvedev was named the game’s first star, making 39 saves

Ottawa 67’s 5 at Barrie Colts 4 (SO)

The Colts mounted a late comeback as Bode Stewart scored his second goal of the season to put Barrie within one and Carter Lowe would score the game-tying goal with 2:01 left to play. The Colts comeback wasn’t meant to be though as they would drop this one in the shootout as Nathan Amidovski would score for Ottawa to earn the extra point
