Saturday Highlights: Bulldogs debut in Brantford a night to remember
Brantford Bulldogs 5 vs. Oshawa Generals 2
- Trailing 1-0 after the first period, the Bulldogs dictated the pace the rest of the way as Nick Lardis potted a pair of third period goals in a 5-2 win
- Oshawa’s Stuart Rolofs scored the first OHL goal at the Civic Centre since 1984 with 8:20 remaining in the first period
- Montreal Canadiens prospect Florian Xhekaj scored the first Bulldogs goal at the Civic Centre, coming on an assist from Ben Bujold 2:58 into the second
- Bujold and captain Lawson Sherk rounded-out Brantford scoring in front of 20 saves by Matteo Drobac
- Brantford outshot Oshawa 37-22, with Generals netminder Jacob Oster turning aside 32 shots
- The Bulldogs pick up their first win, improving to 1-2 while Oshawa is even at 2-2 on the season
- A sold out crowd of 3,000 fans was on hand at the Brantford Civic Centre for the home opener

Owen Sound Attack 6 vs. Erie Otters 5 – OT
- Ethan Burroughs (1-3–4) capped a four-point night with the OT winner, being set up by Sam Sedley before beating Nolan Lalonde on a breakaway
- Deni Goure scored goals five and six on the season, tying the score shorthanded with 2:02 left in the third period
- Looking for their first win, the Otters managed to grab their first point of the season, outshooting the Attack 45-31
- Spencer Sova, Alexis Daviault and Carey Terrance each scored their first goal of the campaign for the Otters
- Corbin Votary earned the win in the Attack crease, making 40 saves
- The Bears improve to 3-1-0-0 to start the season

Barrie Colts 7 vs. Niagara IceDogs 6 – OT
- Trailing 6-3, the IceDogs rallied to tie the score at six and force overtime, with Andrew Wycisk and Kevin He scoring late third period goals in the final three minutes
- Jacob Frasca’s second of the night came 24 seconds into overtime, with assists from Beau Akey and Beau Jelsma
- Roenick Jodoin earned second star honours for Barrie, registering two goals and an assist
- Olivier Savard scored his first goal in a Colts uniform as he also added an assist
- IceDogs rookie Ryan Roobroeck scored his first career OHL goal. He also recorded an assist
- Ryan Humphrey scored his first as an IceDog
- The IceDogs earn their first point of the campaign in the OT loss while Barrie improves to 3-1-0-0

- Sudbury opened the scoring before Ottawa responded with five consecutive goals, powered by Jack Dever with two goals and an assist
- Nic Whitehead scored his first career OHL goal for Ottawa while defencemen Frankie Marrelli and Henry Mews each scored their first of the season
- Chris Barlas finished the afternoon with three assists
- Kaleb Lawrence made his 67’s debut
- The win is Ottawa’s first of the season as the 67’s outshot the Wolves 30-21
- Sudbury picked up wins in two of three contests in their three-in-three road trip, defeating both Peterborough and Kingston
- Sophomore forward Kieron Walton had two assists for the Wolves

- Minnesota Wild prospect Hunter Haight recorded his first OHL hat trick as the Spirit scored eight times on 27 shots
- Aiden Young scored his first career OHL goal while Valentin Zhugin scored his first as a member of the Spirit
- 2024 NHL Draft prospect Zayne Parekh finished the night with four assists while Calem Mangone had a goal and three helpers
- Saginaw outshot Kitchener 27-23, going 3-for-3 on the power play

Soo Greyhounds 7, Flint Firebirds 3
- Jordan D’Intino scored his first OHL hat trick along with two assists, with his five points earning first star honours
- Justin Cloutier tacked on two goals and an assist while Jack Beck had three helpers for the Greyhounds, who have now scored a league-leading 32 goals in five games
- The Greyhounds trailed 4-3 early in the second period before striking for four unanswered goals to hand the Firebirds a third straight loss
- The Hounds scored their seven goals on 27 shots, with goaltender Landon Miller making 27 saves for his first OHL victory
- Firebirds forward Matthew Wang scored his first OHL goal
- Chicago Blackhawks prospect Gavin Hayes made his season debut for Flint

- The Knights held the Guelph Storm to just 16 shots as Philadelphia Flyers prospect Denver Barkey led the way with two goals and an assist in the win
- Boston Bruins pick Jackson Edward scored the deciding goal 6:17 into the second period while Ruslan Gazizov rounded-out the London scoring
- The Knights improve to 3-1-0-1, handing the Storm their first loss of the season
- Long-time OHL official Kevin Hastings worked his 1,254th and final OHL assignment, and was presented with a framed jersey pre-game
Sarnia Sting 6 vs. Windsor Spitfires 3
- The Sting scored at least six goals for a third time in the young season, recovering from a 2-0 deficit to beat Windsor on the road
- Sarnia scored five third period goals in the win
- Andrew LeBlanc, Ryan Brown, Marko Sikic and Tyson Doucette each recorded a goal and an assist for the Sting while Jacob LeBlanc had two helpers
- Spitfires forward Cole Davis scored his first OHL goal
- Nick Surzycia earned the win in the Sarnia crease, stopping 26-of-29
- The Sting outshot the Spitfires 34-29, going 2-for-7 on the power play
- Sarnia improves to 3-2 while Windsor drops to 1-3
