Rangers’ Simon Motew commits to STFX X-Men
The St. Francis Xavier University men’s hockey program has announced that Kitchener Rangers graduate Simon Motew has committed for the 2024-25 season.
Selected by the Rangers in the fourth round (75th overall) of the 2019 OHL Priority Selection, the 21-year-old defenceman from Highland Park, IL. completed a four-year OHL career in Kitchener, recording 21 goals, 66 assists and 87 points in 212 regular season games played. He added an additional eight points (2-6-8) in 30 playoff contests.
