Rangers acquire veteran forward Chris Grisolia
The Kitchener Rangers added some experience to their forward ranks on Thursday, announcing the addition of forward Chris Grisolia in a trade with the Barrie Colts.
The 19-year-old from Vaughan Ont., comes off a 13-point (5-8–13) season in Barrie over 45 games in 2023-24. Over three seasons, the former second round OHL Priority Selection choice has produced 45 points (19-26–45).
“We would like to welcome Chris to the Rangers,” said Rangers General Manager Mike McKenzie. “With some early season injuries and suspensions Chris will get a chance to come in and earn a spot and ice time while providing a veteran presence to our team.”
The Rangers traded a conditional 15th round pick in 2027 to Barrie to complete the deal.
