Erie Otters 10, Saginaw Spirit 6 (in Kitchener)
- The Otters rebounded from giving up 10 on Saturday, putting up double digits of their own as Martin Misiak, Ondrej Molnar and rookie Jack Clarke led the way with two goals apiece
- Anaheim Ducks prospect Carey Terrance finished with a goal and two helpers while newly signed defenceman Keagan Knight had two assists
- After surrendering the first goal, Erie climbed out to a 5-1 lead
- Nic Sima and Jacob Cloutier both scored twice for Saginaw while defenceman James Guo had three assists
- Charlie Burns stopped 42-of-48 for the win
- Saginaw outshot Erie 48-33, going 3-for-5 on the power play in the loss
Guelph Storm 6, Brampton Steelheads 4
- Brampton started strong as the OHL made its return to the CAA Centre, but Guelph finished the job, rebounding from a 3-1 deficit to win 6-4
- Parker Snelgrove scored twice while Cam Allen and Jett Luchanko each had two assists
- Leo Serlin scored the game winning goal 8:44 into the third period
- Ben Lalkin, a former Sarnia Sting forward, had a goal and an assist for Brampton
- Colin Ellsworth and Zachary Jovanovski turned aside a combined 29 shots for the win
- Guelph outshot Brampton 40-33
Kingston Frontenacs 5, Ottawa 67’s 1
- Luke McNamara started the scoring just 2:22 into the first period, a sign of good things to come for the Frontenacs
- Overage forward Cedrick Guindon had three assists for Kingston while Ben Pickell had a goal and an assist and Jacob Battaglia drew two helpers
- Kingston blueliner Emil Pieniniemi led all skaters with eight shots on goal
- Rookie netminder Gavin Betts went the distance for Kingston, stopping 28-of-29
- Liam Conway stopped all 19 shots he faced in the Ottawa crease, taking over from Collin MacKenzie at the midway point
Peterborough Petes 8, Niagara IceDogs 7 – SO (in Port Hope)
- Back and forth game saw Peterborough battle back late on goals from Nico Addy and Chase Lefebvre to tie the score at seven
- Caden Taylor and Colin Fitzgerald scored shootout goals to secure thew in for Peterborough
- Lefebvre recorded a hat-trick along with an assist for Peterborough while Aiden Young put up three assists
- Mathieu Paris and Alex Assadourian both scored twice while Mike Levin collected a goal and two assists
- Zach Bowen and Masen Johnston combined to stop 38 shots for the Petes while Niagara rookie Matthew Humphries stopped 36
- Niagara outshot Peterborough 45-44 and went 3-for-8 on the powerplay
Soo Greyhounds 5, Sudbury Wolves 2
- Tied at two after two, the Greyhounds scored three unanswered in the third to get the win
- Justin DeZoete scored the deciding goal in the opening minute of the third before Marco Mignosa got some insurance shorthanded
- Newcomer Brady Smith had three assists for the Greyhounds
- Kocha Delic assisted on both Sudbury goals
- Detroit Red Wings prospect Landon Miller stopped 28-of-30 for the win
- Drew Gaulton and Finn Marshall made 23 saves for Sudbury
Kitchener Rangers 4, Brantford Bulldogs 3 – SO
- Kitchener saw a 3-0 lead evaporate as the Bulldogs scored three third period goals to force a shootout
- Trent Swick, Tanner Lam and Luke Ellinas all scored in the shootout, giving the Blueshirts their third consecutive shootout win of the weekend
- Evan Headrick joined Swick and Lam in the goal-scoring department for the Rangers
- Ben Radley scored his fourth goal of the weekend for Brantford, joining Noah Roberts and Josh Avery on the scoresheet
- Jackson Parsons made 20 saves in the win opposite Brantford’s Ryerson Leenders, who stopped 34
