Defending champion Petes going back to their roots in 2023-24

The Peterborough Petes (@PetesOHLhockey) are bringing back an old look on the heels of their championship last spring, unveiling new maroon uniforms across their social media channels on Tuesday night.

Gone is the tri-colour theme of maroon, black and white as the Petes go back to a two-tone maroon and white approach hearkening back to the era that saw greats such as Chris Pronger, Mike Ricci, Eric Staal and so many other big names play in Peterborough.

The Petes will reveal their new white version of the uniforms at their home opener on Thursday as they raise their OHL championship banner prior to puckdrop against the Kingston Frontenacs at 7:05pm.
