Kai Edmonds – TMU Bold Athlete of the Week
Kai Edmonds (Barrie, Mississauga) stopped 57 of 59 shots across two wins, including a 28-save shutout against Waterloo, helping the Bold clinch a top-two seed in the OUA West.
Nolan Hutcheson – Gaels Athlete of the Week
Nolan Hutcheson (Sudbury) helped Queen’s Men’s Hockey finish the regular season strong and clinch a playoff spot with two multi-point efforts over the weekend. Hutcheson, who earlier this season became Queen’s Men’s Hockey’s second all-time leading scorer, finished with a goal and an assist in Queen’s 4-3 win over the Ridgebacks on Friday, and two goals in the Gaels’ 4-0 win over Nipissing on Saturday.

Feature Stories of the Week (NCAA)
Donovan McCoy – Hockey East Top Performer
McCoy (Peterborough, Sudbury) scored the game-winning goal with 3:12 left in regulation and added an assist in Providence’s 4-1 win over Northeastern on Saturday night. He finished the weekend with a plus-three rating.
Michael Simpson – Hockey East Top Performer
Simpson (Peterborough, London) earned his first career win in his first NCAA appearance on Saturday night against Northeastern. He stopped 17 of 18 shots, good for a 1.01 GAA and .944 save percentage.

- Ryan Stepien (Saginaw, Kitchener, Oshawa) – Scored the eventual game-winner in a must-win game for the Brock Badgers.
- Tanner Wickware (Guelph, Barrie) – Recorded his first career shutout in a must-win game for the Queens Gaels.
- Keegan McMullen (Peterborough, Soo) – Scored two goals in a 4-2 win to help the Windsor Lancers secure first place in the OUA West.
- Kallaway Mercer (Kingston) – Scored two goals, including the overtime winner, to help the Golden Hawks secure home-ice advantage for the first round of the postseason.
- Patrick Lever (Oshawa, Guelph) – Was awarded Player of the Game on Saturday as he backstopped the X-Men to a shootout win.
- Jack Ivankovic (Mississauga/Brampton) – Named a semifinalist for the 2026 Mike Richter Award.
- Matteo Drobac (Brantford) – Earned a NCHC Goaltender of the Week nomination after making 81 saves over two games.
