Two Teams Clinch Playoff Berths
The Soo Greyhounds and the London Knights became the latest teams to punch their tickets to the 2025-26 postseason. For London, the milestone extends an impressive streak, as the club has now qualified for the playoffs in 25 consecutive seasons dating back to 2000-01.
Klepov Sets Franchise Records
Nikita Klepov made history this past week, recording the most points and assists by a rookie in Saginaw Spirit franchise history. He also became the first rookie this season to reach the 30-goal mark. His standout performance earned him OHL Rookie of the Week honours for the fourth time this season.

Johnson Turns Aside 58
Rookie goaltender Luke Johnson made a career-high 58 saves on Thursday night, helping Brampton secure a point in a 3-2 shootout loss to North Bay despite being outshot 60-22. Johnson also set the Steelheads’ all-time single-game saves record.

Rangers Celebrate 2000th Franchise Win
The Western Conference-leading Kitchener Rangers earned their 2000th franchise victory on Friday, collecting the first two points of a five-point weekend road trip. Goaltender Christian Kirsch, who started all three games, was named Goaltender of the Week after recording his 20th win of the season.

Malhotra Sets Rookie Record
Brantford rookie Caleb Malhotra set a new franchise record for most points by a Bulldogs rookie, reaching 68 (26-42–68) on the season.

North Bay Stays Hot
The Battalion hold fifth place in the Eastern Conference after a 3-0 week in which they outscored opponents 17-6. Captain Ethan Procyszyn played a key role on Family Day, registering five points (2-3–5) to help secure the team’s fifth consecutive win.

Vaccari Reaches 30 Wins
Overage netminder Mason Vaccari recorded a 19-save shutout, his fourth of the season, becoming just the second goaltender in Firebirds history to win 30 games in a single campaign as Flint defeated Oshawa 5-0 on Monday. The Firebirds improved to 37-14-3-2 on the season.

Sting Strike Shorthanded
The Sarnia Sting’s penalty kill was on full display Thursday night, as the club scored two shorthanded goals on the same penalty against Windsor.

Saginaw Erupts for Eleven Goals
The Spirit erupted for 11 goals on Friday in an 11-3 win over Sarnia. Dimian Zhilkin and Brody Pepoy each recorded hat tricks, while Egor Barabanov posted six points (1-5–6). He added four more points (3-1–4) over his next two games to earn OHL Player of the Week honours.

Jaeden Nelson Earns First OHL Shutout
Ottawa 67’s goaltender Jaeden Nelson turned aside all 34 shots he faced to record his first career shutout, improving his season record to 14-6-0-1.

Petes Knock Off Top Teams
Peterborough went 2-1 this past week, defeating conference-leading contenders Kitchener and Ottawa. The Petes have now won five of their last six games and sit four points ahead of North Bay for fourth place in the East.
