An 18-year-old from Ottawa, McDonald is a former third round pick by the Otters in the 2022 OHL Under-18 Priority Selection, and despite being a late bloomer, has brought a competitive edge to the forward corps in Erie. McDonald discusses the club’s recent three-win road trip, playing under head coach Stan Butler and his development process playing in the Ottawa region.
