OHL News – Radio Edition with host Terry Doyle and presented by Warrior Hockey this week features Buffalo Sabres prospect Eric Cornel of the Peterborough Petes.
A 19-year-old from Kemptville, ON, Cornel is playing in his fourth OHL season after being chosen by the Petes in the first round of the 2012 OHL Priority Selection. The 2014 second round pick of the Sabres was named Petes captain prior to the 2015-16 campaign and is enjoying the best offensive season of his career with 26 goals and 51 assists for 77 points in 63 games heading into the weekend.
Cornel chats with Doyle about the Petes’ play as of late, some of the club’s 60th anniversary celebrations, and how special it has been to represent the club for his entire OHL career.
