Today, we take a closer look at the rising OHL talent developing within the Nashville Predators organization.
Brady Martin (C) – Soo Greyhounds (2023-25)
Selected: 1st Round, 5th Overall (2025)

Age: 18
Brady Martin of the Soo Greyhounds was selected fifth overall by the Nashville Predators in the 2025 NHL Draft. A powerful two-way centre, Martin recorded 72 points (33-39–72) in 57 games this season. The 6-foot native of Elmira, Ont., blends high-end compete, physicality, and offensive instincts – bringing a combination of farm-grown grit and finesse to the Predators’ forward group. He becomes the first player from the Greyhounds to be drafted by Nashville.
Cameron Reid (D) – Kitchener Rangers (2023-25)
Selected: 1st Round, 21st Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 116 GP, 16 G, 61 A, 77 PTS, +57
Age: 18
Selected 21st overall by the Nashville Predators, Cameron Reid is a composed, two-way defenceman who excels in transition and defends with precision. The 6-foot, 174-pound blueliner posted 54 points (14-40–54) in 67 games this season, nearly doubling his offensive output from the year prior. He finished second among CHL draft-eligible defencemen in scoring and earned Team West MVP honours at the Connor McDavid OHL Top Prospects Game.
Jack Ivankovic (G) – Mississauga/Brampton Steelheads (2023-25)
Selected: 2nd Round, 58th Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 68 GP, 2.93 GAA, .907 SV%, 39-17-9-0
Age: 18
Jack Ivankovic, a standout goaltender for the Brampton Steelheads, was taken 58th overall by the Predators. He posted a .903 save percentage across 43 OHL games this season. Internationally, Ivankovic backstopped Team Canada to gold at the 2025 IIHF U18 World Championship, earning honours as the tournament’s top goaltender with a .961 save percentage and a 1.95 goals-against average.
Andrew Gibson (D) – Soo Greyhounds (2021-25), Oshawa Generals (2024-25)
Acquired: June 25, 2024
OHL Career Stats: 173 GP, 28 G, 61 A, 89 PTS, +49
Age: 20
Initially drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the second round of the 2023 NHL Draft, Andrew Gibson was acquired by Nashville on June 25, 2024. Midway through the 2024-25 season, he was traded to the Oshawa Generals, where he helped lead the team to a second straight OHL Final, tallying 17 points (5-12–17) in 28 regular-season games.
Joey Willis (C) – Saginaw Spirit (2022-25), Kingston Frontenacs (2024-25)
Selected: 4th Round, 111th Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 180 GP, 56 G, 90 A, 146 PTS, +30
Age: 20
Acquired by the Frontenacs from the Saginaw Spirit at the OHL trade deadline in January 2025, Willis has been a key addition to the black and gold. The Elmhurst, Ill., native became just the sixth American to win both a World Junior Championship (Team USA, 2025) and a Memorial Cup (Saginaw Spirit, 2024). He recorded 18 points in 20 regular-season games with Kingston before signing with the Predators in March.
Jack Matier (D) – Ottawa 67’s (2019-23)
Selected: 4th Round, 124th Overall (2021)
OHL Career Stats: 180 GP, 22 G, 65 A, 87 PTS, +31
Age: 22
After a career-best season with the Ottawa 67’s in 2022-23, Jack Matier signed an entry-level contract with the Predators, which expires after this upcoming season. The 6-foot-5 defenceman spent the 2024-25 campaign with the Milwaukee Admirals (AHL), contributing 7 points (1-6–7) in 41 games.
Navrin Mutter (LW) – Hamilton Bulldogs (2017-22), Kitchener Rangers (2021-22)
Re-signed: April 10, 2025
OHL Career Stats: 119 GP, 27 G, 31 A, 58 PTS, -41
Age: 24
Navrin Mutter enters his third season with the Predators organization after originally signing a three-year entry-level deal in 2022. The 6-foot-3, 202-pound forward registered 5 points (1-4–5) and 91 penalty minutes over 40 games with the Admirals in 2024-25. His contract was recently extended for one more season.
