Shamar Moses (LW) – Barrie Colts (2023-25), North Bay Battalion (2024-25)
Selected: 5th Round, 129th Overall (2025)
OHL Career Stats: 132 GP, 17 G, 56 A, 73 PTS, -40
Age: 18
Acquired early in the season by North Bay, Shamar Moses was selected in the fifth round of this year’s NHL Draft. The physical forward made his presence known with a heavy shot and strong offensive instincts, finishing the year with 48 points (12-36-48).
Sandis Vilmanis (LW) – Sarnia Sting (2022-24), North Bay Battalion (2023-24)
Selected: 5th Round, 157th Overall (2022)
OHL Career Stats: 122 GP, 58 G, 54 A, 112 PTS, +7
Age: 21
After an impressive OHL career, Latvian forward Sandis Vilmanis impressed in his AHL rookie season with the Charlotte Checkers. A key piece in the team’s run to the Calder Cup Final, Vilmanis tallied 27 points (9-18–27) across 61 games.
Kai Schwindt (LW) – Mississauga Steelheads (2021-23), Sarnia Sting (2023-24)

OHL Career Stats: 168 GP, 37 G, 28 A, 65 PTS, -2
Age: 21
Signed as a free agent by Florida in 2022, Kai Schwindt spent much of the 2024-25 season with the Savannah Ghost Pirates in the ECHL. The winger recorded 19 points (8-11–19) and 36 penalty minutes over 66 appearances.
Liam Arnsby (C) – North Bay Battalion (2019-24)
Selected: 7th Round, 214th Overall (2022)
OHL Career Stats: 215 GP, 36 G, 74 A, 110 PTS, +5
Age: 21
A former captain and one of the OHL’s most punishing hitters, Liam Arnsby brought that same grit to the pro game. He suited up for the Savannah Ghost Pirates in his rookie season, recording 7 points (3-4–7) and 16 penalty minutes in 37 appearances.
