OHL Friday Night Faceoff: Kitchener at Sault Ste. Marie

The OHL Friday Night Faceoff spotlight shifts up north to GFL Memorial Gardens this week as the Greyhounds host the Kitchener Rangers in one of seven Friday night games across the league. Fans can watch the action live and free on FloHockey’s YouTube, X, and Facebook channels, as well as the OHL’s Facebook page and the pages of both participating teams. Puck drop is set for 7:07 pm.

The Greyhounds enter the night with one of the top NHL Draft prospects in Chase Reid. The Chasterfield, MI native has registered six points (1-5–6) through eight games this season and leads the Greyhounds with 31 shots. The Greyhounds’ early-season scoring has been in large part due to Jordan Charron, the 2007-born right winger has found the back of the net eight times this season and leads the team with 11 points (8-3–11).

The Rangers bring plenty of firepower of their own up to the Soo, led by Nashville Predators 1st first-round selection and team captain Cameron Reid. Other NHL-drafted prospects, Christian Humphreys, Jack Pridham, and Luca Romano, missed some early games but are all producing at a pace of more than a point per game through three games each.

The Greyhounds will look to get comfortable back on home ice after playing the past six games on the road and give the faithful fans of the Soo an exciting Friday night leading into Thanksgiving.
