DEBRINCAT EARNS 400TH NHL POINT
Detroit Red Wings forward Alex Debrincat recorded his 400th NHL point on Monday, finding the scoresheet twice in a 4-3 loss to the Anaheim Ducks. The Farmington Hills, MI. native has now registered 202 goals and 199 assists (202-199-400) over 481 regular season games spent between the Red Wings, Ottawa Senators, and Chicago Blackhawks. Playing in his seventh NHL season, Debrincat was originally selected in the second round (39th overall) by the Blackhawks in the 2016 NHL Draft. Signed by the Erie Otters as a free-agent, Debrincat played three seasons in the OHL from 2014-17, tallying 167 goals, 165 assists, and 332 points over 191 regular season contests.

OTHMANN PUTTING UP POINTS IN AHL ROOKIE SEASON
Former Peterborough Petes forward Brennan Othmann continues to be a big contributor, ranking fifth among all AHL rookie point-getters, registering nine goals, 11 assists, and 20 points including six multi-point showing in 25 games played with the Hartford Wolf Pack this season. Recording at least a point per game in 13 games this year, the OHL alumnus has remained consistent in his first professional hockey season. Selected in the first round (16th overall) by the New York Rangers in the 2021 NHL Draft, the 20-year-old Scarborough, Ont. native continues to develop after winning an OHL Championship with the Petes last season. Originally selected second overall in the the 2019 OHL Priority Selection by the Flint Firebirds, Othmann played three seasons in the OHL, tallying 197 points (96-101-197) over 177 regular season games.

TIPPETT EXTENDS FLYERS WINNING STREAK
Philadelphia Flyers forward Owen Tippett scored the overtime winner on Tuesday, defeating the New Jersey Devils 3-2 to extend the Flyers’ winning streak to nine consecutive games. Playing in his fifth NHL season, the former first round (10th overall) pick has recorded 56 goals, 52 assists, and 108 points over 223 regular season games played between the Flyers and Florida Panthers. Originally selected fourth overall by the Mississauga Steelheads in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, the Peterborough, Ont. native played four seasons in the OHL between the Steelheads and Saginaw Spirit, registering 244 points (128-116-244) in 213 regular season contests.

VILARDI CONTINUES SCORING STREAK
Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi remains successful, continuing his four-game goal-scoring streak, recording 10 points in his last four games. Selected 11th overall by the Los Angeles Kings in the 2017 NHL Draft, the Kingston, Ont. native has registered 47 goals, 44 assists, and 91 points in 165 games played between the Kings and Jets. Chosen second overall by the Spitfires in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, Vilardi spent three season between Windsor and the Kingston Frontenacs, tallying 157 points in 143 regular season contests.
