BOUCHARD BREAKING RECORDS IN NHL PLAYOFFS
Evan Bouchard has emerged as a difference-maker for the Edmonton Oilers in the post-season, pushing them into the Western Conference Finals after a thrilling seven-game series victory over the Vancouver Canucks. The 24-year-old Oakville, Ont. native’s 20 points (5-15-20) are the most in NHL history by a defenceman through the first two rounds of a single post-season run. Selected 10th overall by the Oilers in the 2018 NHL Draft, Bouchard is currently playing in his third full season with the Oilers. Bouchard played four seasons with the London Knights after being chosen 17th overall in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection. Bouchard helped London win the 2016 OHL Championship and Memorial Cup in his first full season with the Knights in 2016 and won the Max Kaminsky Trophy as the League’s Defenceman of the Year in 2019. Bouchard was also an alternate captain for Team Canada at the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship.

ROBERTSON LEADS STARS TO SUCCESS
Jason Robertson continues to demonstrate dominance as a top point-producer for the Dallas Stars, registering 12 points (3-9-12) in 13 playoff contests. Helping the Stars defeat the Colorado Avalanche 3-2 to advance to the Western Conference Final, the Northville, MI native ranks first in post-season team assists. Selected in the second round (39th overall) by the Stars in the 2017 NHL Draft, the 24-year-old has tallied 314 points (133-181-314) in 292 regular season games in Dallas. Kingston’s fourth round (62nd overall) pick in the 2015 OHL Priority Selection, Robertson played four seasons in the OHL between the Frontenacs and the Niagara IceDogs where he tallied 317 points (149-168-317) in 252 regular season contests. Robertson was awarded the Eddie Powers trophy as the League’s Top Point-Getter in 2019 after recording 117 points in 62 games.

TKACHUCK SEEKING STANLEY CUP REDEMPTION
Hoping to return to the Stanley Cup Finals after falling short last season, Matthew Tkachuk remains a standout for the Florida Panthers, leading the team in post-season points with four goals, 10 assists and 14 points. Playing in his eighth NHL season, the 26-year-old forward has registered 53 points (22-31-53) over 58 playoff contests between the Panthers and the Flames after being selected sixth overall by Calgary in the 2016 NHL Draft. Selected in the fourth round (64th overall) by the London Knights in the 2013 OHL Priority Selection, Tkachuk tallied 107 points (30-77-107) in 57 games played during the 2015-16 season to be crowned OHL and Memorial Cup champion with the team.

TROCHECK RINGING IN POINTS FOR RANGERS
The New York Rangers come off a 4-2 series victory over the Carolina Hurricanes last week, punching their ticket to the Eastern Conference Final. Led in points by Saginaw Spirit and Plymouth Whalers alumnus Vincent Trocheck (6-8-14), the Rangers hope to return to the Stanley Cup Final for the first time in 10 years. Selected by the Florida Panthers in the third round (64th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft, the Pittsburgh, PA native is currently playing in his 11th NHL season. Trochek has registered 519 points (197-322-519) over 719 games played between the Rangers, Panthers and Hurricanes. Drafted in the second round (24th) overall by Saginaw in the 2009 OHL Priority Selection, Trocheck spent four seasons in the OHL, recording 299 points (120-179-299) over 264 regular season contests.
