Canada White defeated Canada Red by a score of 3-1 in the gold medal game of the 2024 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge in Sarnia. Eight OHL players claimed gold while an additional 11 take home silver as members of Canada Red.

“Overall, the team played a great game. We had a bit of a tough first period and needed to get our legs under us, but it was one of our first games as a team, so that can happen. We bounced back really well in the second and got better as the game went on. We started playing harder and hitting more, and we were able to get more pucks into the [Czech] zone.
