NHL Debut: Braeden Bowman (Nov. 13, 2025)
Braeden Bowman is set to make his NHL debut tonight with the Vegas Golden Knights after a stellar start to the season with the Henderson Silver Knights. Through 12 games, Bowman has tallied 12 points (7G, 5A), leading the team in scoring and earning his first call-up to the big stage.
Undrafted, Bowman carved his path by securing a minor-league contract with Henderson following an impressive showing at Vegas’ 2024 Rookie Faceoff, where he led the tournament in goals. That opportunity came just months after he wrapped up his OHL tenure with the Guelph Storm. Over four seasons, Bowman appeared in 184 games, recording 180 points (97G, 83A), and captained the team in his final year.
His rookie AHL campaign in 2024-25 further solidified his trajectory, as he posted 36 points (14G, 22A) in 68 games. The Kitchener, Ont., native’s performance earned him a two-year, entry-level contract in March 2025, making him eligible for this NHL call-up.
Reflecting on the moment after morning practice with the Golden Knights, Bowman shared:
“I had gotten called into the office from Sumit, our video coach in Henderson, and he told me to go into Craig’s office and he broke the news to me there. It’s kind of like a pinch-me moment, I have to make sure I’m not dreaming. I mean it’s just awesome and such a surreal feeling, so yeah I’m pretty excited.”
