Milestone Moments: Oct. 27/17
London Knights teammates Billy Moskal and Tim Fallowfield joined Peterborough Petes winger John Parker-Jones in scoring their first OHL goals on Friday night. Here’s a closer look at those accomplishments.
BILLY MOSKAL (LONDON KNIGHTS):
Billy Moskal cleaned up the garbage on his first OHL goal, coming in late to finish off a broken play in the slot as assists went to Robert Thomas and Alex Formenton. Moskal’s first was one of eight London Knights goals in a lopsided home ice win over the Flint Firebirds. The 17-year-old Sudbury, Ont. native was London’s second round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection.
TIM FALLOWFIELD (LONDON KNIGHTS):
Eighteen year-old defenceman Tim Fallowfield snapped a wrister past Flint’s Luke Cavallin for his first career OHL goal on Friday. The St. Thomas native helped the Knights defeat the visiting Firebirds 8-2, finding the back of the net in his eighth career contest. Fallowfield was signed as a free agent by the Knights this past offseason after spending the 2016-17 season with the St. Thomas Stars Jr. B club.
JOHN PARKER-JONES (PETERBOROUGH PETES):
John Parker-Jones got his stick on a Declan Chisholm point shot to tip home his first career OHL goal in Oshawa on Friday. Parker-Jones’ marker was the only Peterborough goal in a 4-1 loss to the Generals. The 17-year-old native of Brantford, Ont. scored in his fifth career OHL contest. He was signed by the Petes out of training camp this past September after spending the 2016-17 season with the Brampton Bombers Jr. B club.
