Milestone Moments: Jan. 12/18
WILLIAM ENNIS (OSHAWA GENERALS):
Oshawa Generals sophomore defenceman William Ennis scored his first career OHL goal on Friday, helping his club defeat the visiting Flint Firebirds 5-3. Ennis snapped a shot through traffic that made its way past Flint goaltender Luke Cavallin with 4:18 left in the second period. Domenico Commisso and Hayden McCool picked up assists on the goal as Ennis, a 17-year-old defenceman from Gloucester, Ont., had a night to remember. The 6-foot-3, 206Ib. rearguard was Oshawa’s third round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection from Selects Hockey Academy at South Kent School.
