KAI EDMONDS (BARRIE COLTS):
Barrie Colts rookie Kai Edmonds put forth one of the best goaltending performances of the season on Sunday, recording his first OHL shutout with a 48-save performance against the Owen Sound Attack. The road win saw Edmonds backstop the Colts to victory despite their being outshot 48-33 as they put an end to Owen Sound’s six-game winning streak. A 17-year-old native of Carlsbad Springs, Ont., Edmonds was Barrie’s 11th round pick in the 2016 OHL Priority Selection. He is 7-4-0-0 with a 3.20 goals-against average and an .892 save percentage this season.
