Luca Pinelli commits to 67’s
Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa 67’s announced Wednesday that forward Luca Pinelli has committed to the team.
The Barber Poles selected Pinelli as their first pick of the second round, 28th overall, in the 2021 OHL Priority Selection Draft.
“Luca is a skilled player with a physical edge who can impact the game in a number of ways,” said Ottawa 67’s General Manager, James Boyd.
Pinelli is a 5-foot-9, 161-pound center who played with the Toronto Jr. Canadiens U15 AAA during the 2019-2020 season, recording 21 point in 31 season games. He is described as a player with a high skill set and hockey IQ, driven by an immense work ethic and competitiveness.
