IceDogs sign Alex Hage to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement
Niagara, Ont. – The Niagara IceDogs are pleased to announce the signing of Alex Hage, to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Hage, born February 5, 2008, was acquired via trade from the Peterborough Petes. He was originally selected 105th overall in the 2024 OHL Priority Selection by Peterborough. Last season, Hage played for the Chicago Steel of the USHL, recording 6 goals and 5 assists in 37 games. He also posted 43 points (16 goals, 27 assists) in 32 games with the Vaughan Kings U16 AAA in 2023-24. Hage has a strong hockey background, including back-to-back championship appearances at the OHL Cup with Vaughan and GTHL championships at multiple age levels.
The 5-foot-8, 164-pound forward is eligible for the 2026 NHL Draft and is committed to the University of Michigan (NCAA). He is also the younger brother of Montreal Canadiens prospect Michael Hage.
