Generals sign defenceman Simon Wang
Oshawa, ON – The Oshawa Generals have signed defenceman Simon Wang from the King Rebellion of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement.
Standing at 6-foot-6, Wang has showcased his abilities across 29 games this season with the Rebellion, tallying 17 points (three goals and 14 assists). Known for his mobility and physical presence on the blue line, Wang has caught the attention of NHL scouts.
He is eligible for the 2025 NHL Draft and earned a “B” rating on NHL Central Scouting’s preliminary Players to Watch list.
