Generals’ Sennecke added to Canada’s National Junior Team Selection Camp
Oshawa Generals forward Beckett Sennecke has been added to Canada’s National Junior Team Selection Camp.
In 26 games this year, Sennecke has scored 21 goals and tallied 44 points to sit sixth in OHL scoring.
Last season, the the 18-year-old had 68 points in the regular season and then helped lift the Generals to an appearance in the OHL Championship Series. His performance led to him being the first CHL player chosen at the 2024 NHL Draft as the Anaheim Ducks chose him third overall.
In another roster update, London’s Easton Cowan will attend selection camp but will not participate for precautionary reasons. Camp takes place Dec. 10-13 in Ottawa and includes two games against the U SPORTS selects on Dec. 12 and 13.
