Generals acquire Hilton from Greyhounds
The Oshawa Generals and Soo Greyhounds have completed a trade.
The Generals traded a third-round pick in 2029, along with a conditional 10th-round pick in 2029, to the Greyhounds for Charlie Hilton, an Oshawa native, along with a 2028 sixth-round pick.
So far this season, Hilton has suited up in eight games for the Soo, scoring one goal and adding one assist. Charlie adds even more size to an already big group, listed at 6’5”, 220lbs.
“Some transactions go beyond hockey. Charlie has been through a lot in his young life, and we’re happy to have been able to get him closer to home so he can spend more time with his family while continuing his OHL career,” commented Greyhounds General Manager, Kyle Raftis
Hilton, who was originally a 14th Round Selection of the Ottawa 67’s in the 2022 OHL Priority Selection, he was acquired by the Greyhounds on October 4th of last season.
