The Frontenacs took the Friday Night Faceoff in a shootout as Matthew Soto and Calgary Flames prospect Jacob Battaglia scored in the skills competition
Joey Willis had a phenomenal night for the Frontenacs, the former Spirit forward put up two goals and two assists for a four point game
Nic Sima scored a pair of goals in the first period to open the scoring for Saginaw
Jacob Battaglia had a three point performance (2G, 1A) and scored in the shootout to help his Fronts win
Calgary Flames prospect Zayne Parekh also recorded three points (2G, 1A) in this back and forth contest
The Frontenacs showed tenacity in this contest as they battled back to tie the game on four separate occasions
This marks the second consecutive night where Saginaw has scored six goals and still lost

Adrian Misaljevic recorded a natural hat trick in the game with two of his goals coming on the power play in the first period
