With the Greater Ontario Hockey League (GOHL) beginning a new era as the official first development league of the Ontario Hockey League (OHL), we’ll be highlighting notable prospect performances each month. Here is a list of this month’s standout performers:

• Notable/Standout Performance: Recorded points in eight of nine games during the month and is currently riding a six-game point streak. 

 

David Buchman – Brantford Titans (GOHL)

• Hometown: Vancouver, BC

• Drafted: Brantford Bulldogs (20th overall, 2025 OHL Priority Selection)
• Profile: 5-foot-11, 175lbs, left-shot defenceman

• Notable/Standout Performance: Totalled seven points (1-6–7) across a pair of victories, earning GOHL Prospect of the Week honours (Feb. 9-15). 

 

Lucas Nutting – Elmira Sugar Kings (GOHL)

• Drafted: Flint Firebirds (33rd overall, 2025 OHL Priority Selection)
• Profile: 6-foot-1, 165lbs, right-shot defenceman

• Notable/Standout Performance: Put together a five-point outing (1-4–5) on Feb. 8 before following it up with a four-game goal streak. He is currently riding a nine-game point streak.

 

Carter Lewandowski – Ayr Centennials (GOHL)

• Profile: 6-foot-3, 186lbs, left-shot forward

• Notable/Standout Performance: Posted a season-high five-point performance (1-4–5) on Feb. 16 and later extended his goal streak to four games, earning GOHL Prospect of the Week honours (Feb. 16-22).
