World U-17 Hockey Challenge: Day 2 Recap – Czechia Edges Canada White
Canada White vs. Czechia
Final: 3 (CZE) – 2 (CAN)
Czechia (1-0) handed Canada White (1-1) its first loss of the 2025 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge on Monday, skating to a 3-2 win at the Rath Eastlink Community Centre in Truro, Nova Scotia.
Czech forward Adam Nemec was the difference-maker, scoring twice, including the game-winner with 3:25 remaining in regulation.
For Canada White, Kaden McGregor (Peterborough Petes), wearing the ‘A’ on his jersey, earned the primary assist on Eli McKamey’s second-period power-play goal, and Alex Forrest (Kitchener Rangers) set up Kayden Stroeder’s tying marker in the final seconds of the middle frame.
Scott Barney, head coach of the Sudbury Wolves, continues to guide Team Canada White behind the bench as the team looks to regroup in its next outing.
