Cooper Foster commits to 67’s

Ottawa, ON – The Ottawa 67’s announced Thursday that forward Cooper Foster has committed to the club. Foster was the third player selected by Ottawa at the 2021 OHL Priority Selection Draft, 32nd overall in the second round.

Foster is a 5-foot-11, 165-pound left-shot center who played his 2019-2020 season with the Soo Greyhounds U15 AAA. Cooper collected 20 goals and 14 assists for 34 points in 24 regular season games, averaging over a point a game. He then continued his offensive dominance during the postseason, adding seven goals and eight assists for 15 points in only five games. Foster is described as a smart and creative player, with a great vision and has the ability to slow the pace of the game.
