Charging Bulls: Celebrating the 1999 OHL Champions recently had its red carpet premiere at the Empire Theatre in Belleville, Ont.

Filmmakers Aaron and Angela Bell take a walk down memory lane, reliving the one and only championship in the 34-year OHL history of the Belleville Bulls.

A long-time Belleville resident and former OHL Communications Director, Bell interviewed several players from the 1999 championship team along with members from the Belleville community including long-time play-by-play voice Jack Miller.

The documentary walks through the journey of the 1999 playoffs as the underdog Bulls eliminated the eventual Memorial Cup champion Ottawa 67’s in the Eastern Conference Final before hoisting the J. Ross Robertson Cup following a Game 7 series victory over the London Knights.
