Bulldogs acquire George Komadoski from the Firebirds

The Brantford Bulldogs have acquired defenceman George Komadoski from the Flint Firebirds in exchange for a third-round pick in the 2027 OHL Priority Selection.

A native of St. Louis, Mo., Komadoski appeared in 50 regular-season games with the Firebirds during the 2025-26 campaign, recording three assists while accumulating 34 penalty minutes.

Signed by Flint as a free agent last summer, he spent the 2024-25 season with Mount St. Charles Academy in Rhode Island. The 17-year-old is eligible for the upcoming NHL Draft and is committed to the University of Notre Dame beginning in the fall of 2027.

The OHL trade window opened on June 2 and remains open until June 11 at 3:00 p.m. ahead of the 2026 OHL Priority Selection presented by Real Canadian Superstore, which takes place June 12-13 at Slush Puppie Place in Kingston.
