Battalion signs first round U18 Draft selection Carter Nadon

The North Bay Battalion has announced the signing of goaltender Carter Nadon to an education and development agreement with the team after the fifth and final intrasquad game at training camp on Sunday.

The recently turned 18-year-old was the Troops’ first-round choice in the OHL Under-18 Priority Selection in April. The Aurora, Ont., resident played in 2023-24 with the Sudbury Wolves U18 team in the Great North Midget League. In 18 games, he posted a 2.10 goals-against average and three shutouts.

“We’ve thought for a while that we’ve had some good drafts over the years and, after seeing them this weekend, we think our fans are going to enjoy meeting the new recruits as well,” said Adam Dennis, President and Director of Hockey Operations.
